Encapsulation Systems
Using an encapsulation system to envelop the frame is a great way to make your build airtight, watertight and super insulated really quickly. Not only are there benefits from speeding up the build but in the longer term it will make the building much more energy efficient.
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
SIPs are made up of a complex multi-layered system of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and polyurethane insulation material and have very effective U-values with minimal heat transfer. We have developed a TRADA approved Westwind Oak SIPs system and we’re an approved Delivery Partner to supply the Kingspan TEK system. Either way, the panels are made-to-measure and are designed alongside the frame by our in-house design team, so you have the comfort of knowing the two building systems fit together perfectly. Our on-site team will fit the panels with an airtight shadow gap that allows for shrinkage as the frame dries.
Larsen Truss
In response to an increasing demand for sustainable and zero carbon homes, we’ve recently introduced Larsen Truss as one of our envelope systems. It’s an air-tight, eco insulation encapsulation system that uses natural and recycled materials and does not use any petro-chemical membranes or fillings.
